Penelope Chilvers, the designer footwear and accessories brand, has opened its fourth store in London at 328 King’s Road, with KayaNuka, the women’s fashion label, also opening a pop-up at 324-326 King’s Road.
Penelope Chilvers has opened a 1,327sq ft store on Sloane Stanley’s King’s Road, bringing its made-to-last fashion to the Chelsea neighbourhood alongside its locations in Notting Hill, Mayfair, Belgravia and The Cotswolds. Combining contemporary, fashion-led design with enduring style and traditional Spanish craftsmanship, Penelope Chilvers produces timeless, made-to-last pieces that work seamlessly with each season’s trends. Known for its ‘Long Tassle Boot’, famously worn by HRH Catherine, Princess of Wales, Penelope Chilvers’ collections have since grown to include iconic styles, including the Incredible Boot, the creped soled Neon Safari boot and Goodyear welted outdoor footwear for experience and adventure.
Joining Penelope Chilvers is KayaNuka, the carefully curated jewellery, accessories and women’s fashion brand. Marking its third pop-up on the Sloane Stanley Estate and showcasing the landlord’s collaborative approach to supporting independent growth, KayaNuka is situated on King’s Road until the New Year. KayaNuka, which means ‘Older & Younger’ in Cherokee, a Native American language, resembles the mother and daughter duo behind the brand. The pop-up showcases its inspirational, boho-chic jewellery collections to the community of Chelsea, offering unique and special pieces and delivering an exclusive, physical insight into the online-only brand.
Penelope Chilvers and KayaNuka join several independent names on King’s Road, such as Aspiga and Chinti & Parker and also sit alongside a growing roster of F&B operators, such as the recently opened Alley Cats and the upcoming arrival of Pizza Pilgrims and Fantomas.
