Spanish fashion brand Mango is making progress in the Uruguayan market and, in collaboration with Forus, is preparing to open a new store in Montevideo to reach two single-brand stores in the country.
In its new venture into Uruguayan territory, Mango will join the board of directors of the Punta Carretas Shopping mall, one of the most important complexes at a national level. Data from El País reveal that the Catalan brand’s store will have around 400sq m and will open at the end of November under its “New Mediterranean” interior design concept.
“Mango’s idea is to transmit Mediterranean culture through its collections, its stores and the customer experience and we have the privilege of being able to count on this new concept,” Sofía Cabrera, Mango’s Brand Manager, told the local media.
Mango’s arrival in Uruguay and its operation in the country has been carried out in collaboration with the local division of Forus, a leading Chilean company in the distribution and operation of international brands in Peru, Colombia, Chile and of course, Uruguay. Forus’ portfolio includes brands such as Aldo, Hush Puppies, CAT, Merrell and Columbia Sportswear, to name a few.
