Las Vegas Unveils Immersive District Expansion

The city of Las Vegas has unveiled the Vegas Immersive District, a 35-acre expansion north of the renowned Area15.

Expected to attract 3.5 million annual visitors and generate $796M in yearly on-site spending, the district is poised to become a cornerstone for immersive entertainment, retail and community living in the region.

This ambitious development represents a significant milestone for Area15, a joint venture by Fisher Brothers and Beneville Studios. Opened in 2020, Area15 has become a global leader in immersive and experiential entertainment, driving demand for further growth.

One of the key attractions of the Vegas Immersive District will be Universal Horror Unleashed, Universal Destinations & Experiences’ first permanent horror-themed venue. Inspired by the success of Halloween Horror Nights, this year-round attraction will encompass 100,000sq ft of horror-themed entertainment. Visitors can expect haunted houses based on Universal’s iconic monsters, Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer, and other popular intellectual properties.

This addition brings a unique, adrenaline-fuelled offering to the district and aligns with Area15’s reputation for hosting cutting-edge immersive experiences. Universal Horror Unleashed is projected to attract a broad demographic of thrill-seekers, further solidifying Las Vegas as a global hub for entertainment innovation.
