The H Dubai reveals Sheikh Zayed Road in chocolate & gingerbread

The H Hotel Dubai has recreated Dubai’s famous Sheikh Zayed Road using gingerbread and Belgian chocolate, and it took a team of culinary experts a total of 900 hours to finish. Now on full display at the Sheikh Zayed Road hotel, the recreation was made with the help of 20 different chefs, lead by Chef Hamzeh Saffaf of The H Dubai.

Planning and preparation began back in September, and it’s made solely with gingerbread and chocolate. It stretches to a whopping eight metres, and features a two-metre tall H Dubai building, World Trade Centre and RTA metro station, along with other iconic landmarks. That’s a lot of gingerbread and chocolate.

“The H Dubai is situated right at the start of Sheikh Zayed Road, and this recreation is an ode to the beautiful landmark, with all its towers and glimmering lights, we thought it would be the best way to express the property’s festive spirit and love for the iconic area.” – Chef Hamzeh Saffaf.
