Chanel has opened a second store at Paris-Charles De Gaulle

The 170sq m boutique, which opened on 20 December, has a white marble façade and features two entrances; the first leading to the ready-to-wear and the second to bags, shoes and other accessories.

“The three distinct spaces of the boutique give it an intimate and elegant atmosphere while providing a veritable immersion into the world of Chanel,” says the brand.

The first is home to the bags, the small leather goods as well as watches and jewellery. The second is devoted to shoes and costume jewellery.A selection of eyewear is displayed in the centre of these two spaces. The grey stone floor covered with rugs “responds to the pearlised white and moon gold of the walls and welcomes bar stools and poufs in tweed,” says Chanel.

In a fitting room with a sycamore wood finish and gold touches, clients can try on garments from Virginie Viard’s collections (Viard stepped into the position of Artistic Director following the passing of Karl Lagerfield in February last year), while the tweed armchairs and sofa allow customer to sit down and enjoy the House runway shows, projected onto a screen.
