We love a bit of M&S here in the UAE – we still fondly remember the euphoria at Time Out Towers when the first-ever standalone M&S Food store opened in Marina Promenade – and we’ve got another brand-new branch opening in Dubai to get excited about.
Neighbouring the massive new IKEA in Jebel Ali’s Festival Plaza, the new Marks & Spencer’s store is huge, measuring in at nearly 19,000 sq ft. It will include the classic M&S clothing collections we all know, promising new prices that “shoppers will love”. The store will continue to stock its vegan clothing range, which it first introduced last year.
And, of course, there’s a huge M&S Food section, featuring 2,000 premium products including a bunch of stuff like this. The food store has also confirmed this M&S will be stocking a range of Halal meat products from the UK and New Zealand, including chicken, beef and lamb – as well as its vegan-friendly Plant Kitchen range.
“At Marks & Spencer, customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re thrilled to welcome them to the new store at Festival Plaza,” said Nick Batey, GM of M&S MENA. “Combining the best of our latest fashion collections along with our high-quality food range, our store at Festival Plaza promises to create something truly special and unique for our customers.”
