Alabbar Enterprises feeding people in need

Dubai-based Alabbar Enterprises has decided to feed people in need amidst the lockdown and movement restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company has launched a CSR initiative called ‘Helping Hands’ to support the community and deliver wholesome charity meals for those in need. The ‘Helping Hands’ campaign was launched at the beginning of April and it is through this that Alabbar Enterprises intends to serve 3,500 meals a week.

Having collaborated with suppliers – such as MH Enterprises, Chef Middle East, Barakat, Unilever, PepsiCo Arabia, BidFood, Greenhouse – and brands – including Two At Symphony, Karak House, GIA, Angelina, Social House, Markette, Candylicious – Alabbar Enterprises cook, prepare, pack and deliver fresh home-made nutritious meals every day.

Commenting on the ‘Helping Hands’ initiative, Tyrone Reid, CEO, Alabbar Enterprises said, “I wanted to see how we could help during these challenging times witnessed by our nation and the rest of the world. Although our restaurants are currently only available for delivery, I knew that there must be something that we could do to help. Helping hands is a reflection of the unity of the Dubai community, both individuals and organisations.”
