Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood have been closed to the public since 16 March, due to the global coronavirus pandemic.
With social distancing measures and attractions closures still in place across the US, the original shut down period at both parks has now been extended until at least 31 May. In a statement, Universal said it was continuing to follow advice from health agencies and government officials, and that the health and safety of both guests and staff was a priority.
This closure at both sites includes Universal CityWalk as well as the theme parks. In addition to this, all hotels at Universal Orlando Resort are temporarily closed.
