The UK supermarket chain are amongst other companies to have expressed an interest in buying some of Carluccio’s restaurants after the dining chain collapsed into administration last month.
Tesco is understood to be interested in a small number of sites to be potentially converted into Express stores. Carluccio’s entered administration last month after the impact of coronavirus exacerbated the firm’s long-standing financial difficulties.
