Ei Group, one of Britain’s biggest pub landlords has now agreed to waive hundreds of thousands of pounds in rent for its tenants following ongoing pressure from MPs.
Ei Group, which was snapped up for £3 billion by Slug and Lettuce owner Stonegate last year, said it will effectively cancel all rent payments from April to June for about 350 of its 3,457 leased and commercial tenants.
