Through Festival Cares, Al-Futtaim Malls across the region are reaching out to communities to offer support to those in need. As part of this initiative, Cairo Festival City Mall partnered with the Misr El Khier Foundation this Ramadan to support the service workers in hospitals nationwide.
The initiative provided the sanitation workers, janitors and security members as well as other services workers with essential Ramadan supplies. Cairo Festival City Mall’s donation supplied 20,000 individuals with food and Ramadan commodities during the Holy Month.
Over the past few weeks, the mall has launched a number of initiatives aimed at supporting the medical frontline staff through outdoor advertising campaigns throughout the city. The team also took the time to remember orphans in the community, and in collaboration with El-Orman Association, they sent gifts, toys and sanitizers, properly sterilized and disinfected, to children in a number of orphanages in Cairo.
