The newly installed vending machines at Dubai International Airport will dispense PPE kits that include masks and gloves, as well as sanitisers.
Dubai International Airport has completed work on two vending machines that dispense personal protective equipment (PPE) to travellers amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
In a statement, Dubai Airports said that the PPE vending machines are located at DXB’s Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. Each dispenses PPE kits containing a mask and a pair of gloves, as well as two varieties of sanitisers. More products are expected to be added in the coming days, including European-manufactured and certified reusable face masks.
Along with cargo and repatriation flights, which continued through flight suspensions brought on by the pandemic, DXB is now handling scheduled passenger flights which began on 21 May from Terminal 3 to select destinations.
