Frédéric Arnault will be appointed as CEO of Tag Heuer at the beginning of July, marking the youngest member of the Arnault clan. He replaces Stéphane Bianchi, who moves to oversee the jewellery brands Chaumet and Fred.
Arnault joined the brand in September 2017 as Head of Connected Technologies, before being appointed Director of Digital and Strategy a year later. He notably developed a new generation of connected sports watches, a key segment to appeal to younger customers.
Tag Heuer was the first Swiss watchmaker to win over customers in 2015 for this luxury segment. The connecte watched will serve as an entry point for the young clientele, looking to upgrade to a mechanical watch.
