Shopping Malls across the Middle East to welcome back families in safe environment

The Supreme Committee of Disaster Management has announced the easing of restrictions on a number of activities for children under the age of twelve. Al-Futtaim Malls welcomed back its younger visitors this weekend with a special kid-sized masks to ensure that they’re safe whilst shopping.

Al-Futtaim will provide more than fifty thousand masks as part of its Festival Cares Initiative, taking place throughout the two malls. All visitors must continue to adhere to strict health and safety rules whilst they’re inside the mall and they must wear masks at all times.

‘As we get into the swing of the UAE summer, we know that parents are keen to visit our malls as a way of escaping the heat, shopping and entertaining the kids. We have certainly missed the little ones and are conscious to ensure we welcome them back with the peace of mind that they would also be safe while enjoying everything our properties have to offer. We have other surprises in store for our younger guests throughout the summer, so we look forward to seeing them there in the coming months.’ – Timothy Earnest, Group Director, Al-Futtaim Malls.
