APG & Delancey plot Mixed-Use future for Earl’s Court after purchasing it for £425m

Architects have been appointed to draw up new plans for a mixed-use scheme in Earl’s Court, London. The new plan will mean that the old controversial proposal for a development of mainly luxury residential will be scrapped.

APG & Delancey purchased the 40-acre site at Earl’s Court last year for £425 million and have now formed a joint venture with Transport for London, which has a lease on some of the land and hope to progress a new scheme.

“The brief provided to architects called for a significantly more mixed-use environment than previous plans, so that more commercial space is simultaneously delivered alongside a revised housing plan,” the owners said in a press release.
