The reopening comes with the launch of the new appointment service that means Belstaff will now offer out-of-hours appointments, allowing consumers to shop when the store is otherwise closed.
Customers are of course able to book personal shopping appointments inside of the standard opening hours, which are now 11am to 5pm, and the one-to-one service is being extended to its online operations for “those who prefer to stay at home, with outfitting advice provided by video call”.
This is all part of a recent trend that can be seen throughout the luxury segment as businesses go about re-openings and recognising the need for a perfect customer experience while keeping guests at a distance so as not to break government distancing rules. In its Glasgow store, which follows the opening of Belstaff stores in the UK and Germany previously, has under gone a deep-clean and implemented a raft of social distancing, customer flow control and hygiene measures.
