EDITION Hotels has announced that The Tokyo EDITION Toranomon hotel will now launch on 8 September 2020.
The upcoming launch marks the company’s first hotel in Japan and its third overall in Asia. The property has been designed in collaboration with globally renowned architect and designer Kengo Kuma, The Tokyo EDITION Toranomon will embrace both the authentic history of the ancient city along with the modern skyscrapers that have been revitalising the city’s skyline in recent years.
The hotel will feature 206 guest rooms, of which 22 suites will have views of the iconic Tokyo skyline. The hotel also features three restaurants, one of which is a specialty restaurant with an outdoor terrace overlooking Tokyo Tower, an all-day dining venue and lobby lounge, three lounge bars, a spa that is custom designed, a top of the range gym and 387sq m of event space with four meeting studios.
