The first Pepco stores, which specialise in budget household goods and clothes, are due to launch in the autumn.
The company is being advised on its entry into the market by Bojović Drašković Popović & Partners, which has established Pepco’s Serbian subsidiary. Pepco will also be opening its first stores in Italy in September.
The retailer, which is headquartered in Poznań, is also present in the Czech Republic, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania and Bulgaria. It employs more than 18,000 people and operates over 1,900 stores visited by around 18 million customers a month.
