hianna’s brand Fenty has teamed up with designer Amina Muaddi to create a new shoe line.
The new partnership, which begins with a four-shoe line-up, is the first in an ongoing union. The first drop includes four styles which are a mule, a sandal with PVC strap, a cage pump that ties all the way up the leg and a lace up sandal with crystal.
Each of the shoes includes a 10cm metal heel that adds lift while staying as comfortable as possible.
“It was very exciting to find that Fenty identity,” Muaddi told Vogue. “I wanted to start from scratch. I wanted the shoes to emphasise Fenty’s aesthetic and have Rihanna’s feminine yet edgy vision and style but do it through my own lens.”

Muaddi first connected with the Fenty brand through its Creative Director, Jahleel Weaver, who reached out to Muaddi through social media.
“Aside from her immaculate taste, something that I thought was really important between the connection of Amina and Rihanna… They are both modern women designing for modern women,” Weaver told Vogue. “I think that connection is really, really important. Obviously, Amina thinks about that with her designs in her line and Rihanna thinks about that in everything that she does. There’s something invaluable about women doing it for themselves. That is very important.”
The shoes will become available for purchase on 20 July.
