Australian company Access Corporate Group has opened its first New Zealand office in Auckland and acquired the NZ skincare brand Savar.
Access, which manages beauty and lifestyle brands in ANZ and APAC, said the opening of the New Zealand office is part of the company’s ambitious international expansion.
The company said its New Zealand operation has a target to achieve more than NZ$100M over the next five years and will be building new warehousing, consolidating its supply chain, as well as expanding its New Zealand resellers and operating infrastructure.
According to Access’ NZ General Manager Greg Macpherson, the new office will manage and expand the company’s existing New Zealand brands, which include the manuka honey brand Bee+, MitoQ and its recently acquired skincare brand Savar, which was founded by New Zealander Vicky Woolford in 2010.
“It is an exciting opportunity for us to expand our business in this market and enhance our presence in the beauty industry with this successful New Zealand brand,” said Livia Wang, Access Corporate Group’s ANZ CEO.
