It was only May last year when the revamp of the Valextra flagship store in Milan was revealed, but now, the aesthetic of the premises has been subtly tweaked with a series of magnificent light fixtures.
London-based designer Michael Anastassiades was commissioned to create a light fixture which resulted in the sleek Flos lamp which is a nod to the ingenuity and elegance of ancient Greek architecture. The design features vertical LED rods joined around a central base to form a freestanding lamp that recalls the geometric parity of platonic forms and the stately fluted columns of the Parthenon.

The freestanding pillars come with either ceiling hard-wired or plug-in options and present an architectural lighting solution with enduring and monumental style. A total of seven Flos lamps can be found on the Valextra flagship store premises, and seamlessly blend into Pawson’s understated setting.
