The Sour Patch Kids brand is celebrating its 35th anniversary with the opening of its first-ever brick-and-mortar location.
The Sour Patch Kids shop will open on 6 August at 665 Broadway in Manhattan, between NYU’s Washington Square campus and the SoHo shopping district. Selling more than just candy, the kid-friendly store promises Insta-worthy photo opportunities. The attractions will include a sweets bar, create-your-own candy mix station and limited-edition merchandise.
The menu includes such offerings as ice cream, waffles, smoothies, shakes and even cotton candy— all with Sour Patch Kids embellishments.
Sour Patch Kids will open with full safety precautions in place, including limited store capacity to ensure plenty of space for visitors. Floor markings and in-store signage will assist with social distancing and face coverings will be required. The seating area will be off-limits until it is able to offer in-store dining.
