The move comes as the company looks to overhaul its store management and adapt to increasing online sales.
Plans have been announced by Dixons Carphone to cut 800 jobs as part of an overhaul of its store management structure.
Implementation of these changes will see the removal of retail manager, assistant manager and ream leader roles, while introducing new sales manager, customer experience manager and operational excellence manager positions in stores.
“We remain committed to our stores as part of an omni-channel future, where we offer the best of online and stores to our customers,” Dixons Carphone COO Mark Allsop said.
“This proposal will ensure in-store roles are focused on giving a seamless customer experience and exceptional service across all our customer channels, whether online or in-store.”
