The Boulevard signs up Molton Brown

Lotus Property, owners of Northern Ireland’s premier design outlet has signed one of the UK’s most iconic brands to join the scheme.

Molton Brown will set up shop in September as a temporary pop-up with the option to extend lease; taking a 1075sq ft unit until January 2021, offering luxury bath, body and home products.

This latest signing comes on the back of reports of a strong trading outlook for The Boulevard in the six weeks since reopening back in June, with footfall up by an average of 15 per cent compared to the same time last year.

Major anchor tenants have reported outperforming many of the strongest UK schemes, with feedback showing Northern Ireland is consistently performing better than the rest of the UK. Brands such as Beauty Outlet, GAP, Mountain Warehouse, Denby, Asics and Nike are seeing sales increases between 10.5 per cent and 124.6 per cent.

Alastair Coulson, Managing Director of Lotus Property said: “Since reopening, the feedback we’re getting from tenants as to how well their stores have been performing across their brands’ portfolios has been extremely encouraging.

“Molton Brown is an iconic brand that we know complements our existing tenant base and matches perfectly with our shopper demographic. The signing is testament to the success of the scheme and our ongoing investment in it.”
