Superdry has reported better than expected trading for the first quarter of the year.
The British brand has agreed upon and secured a new £70 million financing facility to help see it through the pandemic with its existing lenders, HSBC and BNPP which will extend until January 2023.
Despite a drop in sales due in large part to store closures during lockdown, the company has commented that its results were better than they initially expected. Group revenue was down 24.1% compared to the same period last year.
E-commerce has been strong and up by 93.2% in the quarter with these levels now normalising as stores reopen.
