Camaïeu Saved by FIB

Camaïeu has been saved by Real Estate Group FIB from Bordeaux. Unfortunately the stores in Belgium, Luxembourgh and Switzerland are not part of the deal.

Following a refused state-backed loan which it applied for to navigate the COVID-19 crisis, the French fashion chain sought judicial protection and filed for receivership before the trade court in Lille in May. Real Estate Group FIB was announced as the choice of the court in Lille which had to choose between the current owner, Joannes Soënen and the new owner, FIB.

The deal only includes the 511 stores in France and there is no solution as of yet for the stores in Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland and so the French brand is expected to continue to send stock to the other foreign stores, in the hopes that they can also find an appropriate buyer.
