Butter Bean, a café chain concept by BreadTalk is launching its first outlet at Funan Mall.
Butter Bean will offer a menu of coffee-based beverages, inspired by the traditional Singaporean Nanyang coffee, a highly caffeinated black coffee traditionally served with palm oil, butter and or sugar to enhance the flavour. The café will also serve a selection of foods including toasts, baked goods, mains and sandwiches with a modern twist.
This first location at Funan Mall will open this coming Friday (August 28) with a second location planned at Vivo City next month. This first outlet will seat 45 guests at any one time and features yellow and marble interiors, in keeping with the brands eye-catching logo.
Vincent Lim, Regional GM at BreadTalk Group has commented: “We aim to present traditional Nanyand Coffee in an engaging manner that appeal to the younger generation’s evolving lifestyle. Our outlets are also designed as a social space centred on good vibes, conversations and connection.”
