The Muvi Cinemas have opened their doors to the public in Saudi Arabia.
The Muvi Cinemas brand is the first Saudi-owned cinema chain, owned by Arabian Developments. Since 2019 Chapman Taylor has been involved in the design and delivery of a series of state-of-the-art cinemas for the brand. These new two Muvi Cinemas are the latest to open their doors in the ongoing roll-out of cinema developments for the Muvi Cinema brand.
Muvi Jubail Cinema is a new five-screen cinema located in the eastern Saudi city of Jubail, Al Ahsa Mall, an 8 screen Muvi Cinema is also located in eastern Saudi Arabia. The cutting-edge design for both cinema complexes have a theme of urban downtown, with the intention of creating a dynamic, modern and innovative cinema experience. Internal spaces are characterised by an industrial, yet luxurious, material palette, including timber, exposed steelwork, exposed brickwork and an exposed concrete floor.
