The brand has revealed that it has invested $12M in its e-commerce activities.

Brands For Less Group (BFL) is a UAE-based budget retailer which opened its first store in Beirut, Lebanon in 1996 and moved their headquarters to Dubai four years later where it has grown and still remains today.

The brand has grown considerably, employing 1700 people and operating 65 stores across the Middle East with one recently opened location in Spain. However, despite their prominent physical presence in the area, the coronavirus lockdown has seen the company’s online business increase by 50 per cent and given this rise in online activity, the company has decided to accelerate their already growing e-commerce business.

Yasser Beydoun, Co-Founder has commented: “We really channelled all our resources towards creating a very powerful ecommerce platform because we really want to become the pioneers in the online value sector, not only the bricks-and-mortar value sector. The investment that we’ putting in the online exceeds $12M in terms of everything.”
