Twenty one Myer locations are set to become click and collect hubs where customers can pick up their Amazon packages.
The new partnership will be called Amazon Hub and will provide customers the benefits of both offline and online shopping without having to wait for their parcel to be delivered. Upon checking out of Amazon, customers will be able to select one of the twenty one Myer stores currently participating in the partnership to collect their deliveries from.
Myer Chief Customer Officer Geoff Ikin has commented on the partnership: “This partnership is about combining our services to create greater convenience for our customers. Additionally given the current restrictions that Australians are experiencing, and with many customers rightly concerned about multiple trips to fulfil their shopping needs, Myer is uniquely placed to offer easy access and parking and a safe environment where customers can shop and collect their Amazon purchase.”
Should the partnership prove to be successful, the partnership will be extended across further Myer locations.
