Robots will now hand over packages at their brand new DIFC location.
The news comes following the brands announcement that they will be launching an all new click-and-collect service at their new location in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). It is expected that the robotised service will be able to fulfil hundreds of orders per day, cutting down waiting time and ultimately, enhancing the customers experience.
The new service is quick, easy to use and adds to the growing demand for self-service that the industry has seen since the outbreak of the Coronavirus. Customers in DIFC will order online via the Carrefour app or website, choosing to collect their order through the new self-service option. Once the order has been confirmed, a QR code will be sent to the customer to be used upon collection and finally their order will be delivered to them by the robot.
Hani Weiss, Chief Executive Officer at Majid Al Futtaim Retail has commented: “We are excited to expand our offering and high-quality products to the DIFC community, while introducing a new innovation that will cater to the fast-paced lifestyle at one of the leading business hubs in Dubai.”
