The British Tailor will open a new four-storey townhouse in London’s Mayfair, bringing together its two stores under one roof.
The new location which occupies 3100sq ft and will be known as the ‘tailoring townhouse’ will aim to offer customers ‘an elevated new retail experience.’ Tailoring Townhouse will offer the brands ready-to-wear collection as well as a tailoring workshop, fitting rooms, a made-to-measure lounger and a cocktail bar and barber’s shop.
The groundfloor will house the brands bespoke workrooms with the first floor being home to the brands collection along with a consultation space. The cocktail bar is located on the third floor of the townhouse with the barbership occupying the top floor.
“The townhouse marks the start of an exciting chapter for Thom Sweeney. We’re excited to be moving onto Old Burlington Street, bringing fresh energy to neighbouring Savile Row – an address that’s synonymous with Great British tailoring.” commented Co-Founder Thom Whiddett.
