BAPE currently operates a permanent shop in Selfridges, while independent retailer END has customers in Newcastle and Glasgow well-catered for. The London Store could be the start of a wider European roll-out, with a BAPE spokesperson telling: ‘We are intending to expand the brand further into other European regions.‘
According to a report, Cushman & Wakefield and Shackleton brokered the deal for the 7,000sq ft store. The brand is currently owned by Hong Kong-listed fashion company I.T.
