The new public space includes a number of leisure, edutainment and exercise facilities.

Abu Dhabi’s much-loved Corniche, which overlooks the city’s Mangrove National Park has undergone a period of renovation that has seen the introduction of a number of leisure and exercise facilities, 3.5km of shaded walkways and cycling tracks and three exercise platforms.

The area has been under development for the past two years; however the much-anticipated project is now completed. Among the newly added features is a history-themed edutainment zone that tells guests the story of modern Abu Dhabi. In terms of exercise facilities, the newly renovated area boasts yoga platforms, kayaking and a 3.5km stretch of walking and cycling tracks.

Young children are also catered to, with the introduction of a range of play equipment. As well as this, the location’s iconic Dolphin Park has been refurbished, and now includes barbeque stations and public washrooms.
