Academy Sports + Outdoors, a leading full-line sporting goods and outdoor recreation retailer announced the opening of its first store in Brenham, TX. Located at 1041 Nolan Street, the approximately 63,000-square-foot store brings a wide assortment of sports and outdoors merchandise to the area. This marks the fourth store Academy has opened in 2023. Academy plans to continue its expansion efforts with the goal of opening a total of 120 to 140 new stores by the end of 2027.
Academy will host grand opening festivities from Friday, September 15 through Sunday, September 17. Throughout the weekend, customers can look forward to special appearances by Food Network star and former pro football player Eddie Jackson, the Brenham High School cheer team, drumline, and mascot, as well as exclusive deals, giveaways, and more.
