Accor has expanding in Leicester – Novotel & Adagio Aparthotel

Accor, the leading augmented hospitality group, today announces that two newly built hotels in Leicester, Novotel Leicester and Adagio Leicester Aparthotel, will open on 16th January 2020.

The new properties, under midscale Novotel and Aparthotel Adagio brands, are owned by Charles Street Buildings Group and operated by Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Aimbridge Hospitality’s International Division. Interstate is an existing Accor partner with multiple hotels across the UK and Europe.

The 10-storey Novotel Leicester boasts 154 guestrooms including executive suites, meeting spaces, a state-of-the-art gym and a ground-floor feature bar and restaurant. The hotel is ideal for guests who want style and convenience wrapped up in one.

The six storey Adagio Leicester Aparthotel is opening next door to the Novotel with 98 apartments consisting of two person studios and one-bedroom apartments for up to four people. Each room comes with a fully fitted kitchen and a housekeeping service is also available. Adagio Leicester is perfect for longer stays, whether that be for business, leisure visitors looking for a regional base or those visiting family at university.

Set in a location which connects the city centre to the developing Waterside area of Leicester, the Great Central Square development provides the two hotels with a prime site for both corporate and leisure travellers. The Highcross Shopping Centre is positioned directly opposite, the city centre is a short walk away and attractions such as the National Space Centre and Curve Theatre are only a 10-minute drive away. The hotels are easily accessible from the M1, junction 21. Other transport connections are also in close proximity with Leicester train station 0.8 miles away and East Midlands Airport under 19 miles away.
