A brand new Mercure hotel that will feature 146 rooms will open in Khiva, an ancient city in Uzbekistan in 2025.
The hotel will be located on the territory of the former Mevaston mahalla and harmoniously fit into the city’s ancient architectural ensemble thanks to its authentic design, which represents the brand’s philosophy “Locally Inspired”.
“We are delighted to expand our presence in Uzbekistan and add a new city to the map of Accor Group. Khiva is one of the most important centres of the Great Silk Road, along with Samarkand and Bukhara. The key features of the future hotel, such as comfort, chic, elegance and local spirit, will perfectly emphasize the true beauty of the ancient East, embodied in this unique oasis city. We are confident that Mercure Khiva and its surroundings will leave an indelible impression on our guests,” noted Alexis Delaroff, COO of Accor New East Europe.
