ADG Group Continues With Neighbourhood-Centre Projects

Russian Developer ADG Group opened six public clusters in the city’s suburbs in 2020, with plans to open further locations in 2021.

Despite the challenges of the global pandemic, ADG Group has continued to successfully implement a large-scale project to develop a chain of neighbourhood centres. Six centres were opened last year, with another 23 under construction. ADG Group’s Mesto Vstrechi (Meeting Place) project is designed to transform the residential suburbs of Moscow and enable citizens to meet, dine, entertain and shop in proximity to their homes in state-of-the-art public spaces by reviving the heritage of old  Soviet cinemas.

The concept was born in 2014, when ADG Group acquired more than 30 old cinemas from the city of Moscow. The projects were envisaged and the concept was launched to the market in 2019, when the first neighbourhood centre, Angara opened in the south of Moscow.

As we see that consumer behaviour is changing and people across the world are shifting to digital channels for shopping, food delivery and entertainment. As such, the company is developing a digital experience for neighbourhoods based on the Masto Vstrechi app which was launch together with Angara’s opening. The app allows consumers to get the latest information on the centre and use online services including event booking or food delivery.

The projects will continue to grow both online and offline throughout 2021.
