The Australian fashion label, Aje, has opened its first New Zealand store for its activewear spinoff brand, Aje Athletica.
Situated on level two of Westfield Newmarket, Aje Athletica Newmarket features the brand’s signature earthy tones and curved forms that are inspired by the scultpires of Richard Serra. Highlighting the space is natural materials with organic shapes and lines – metal and rock.
Adrian Norris, Co-Founder Aje and CEO Aje Athletica, said: “The Aje brand has continued to experience significant growth and traction in New Zealand particularly since we opened our first physical Aje mainline store in October 2019. We also feel strongly that the physical retail environment is the best way for us to continue to tell our brand story.”
The launch is part of the brand’s expansion plan in ANZ, which will see the rollout of 11 standalone stores across the region with six standalone stores scheduled to open across Australia early 2022.
