Aldi has now announced that it will provide all of its shop floor staff in the UK with a face mask to further support their safety amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
The face masks come after the German discount grocer recently announced the provision of gloves and clear screens that are being installed at more than 7000 checkouts. Aldi UK staff can also now access the government’s Covid-19 testing programme for critical workers.
