Allbirds Launches in Korea

Sustainable footwear brand Allbirds has expanded its reach into the Korean market.

Allbirds began in 2016 as an online retail brand and following huge popularity from customers has since expanded its offering to include 21 brick-and-mortar stores across 35 countries. The latest of these is Korea, where customers will be able to shop their collection of sustainably sourced and made footwear and apparel pieces.

Sandeep Verma, the brand’s head of International has commented: ‘As we continue to expand oue international footprint, we’re excited to finally enter the Korean market and connect with our existing community here, further establishing Allbirds as an important sustainable fashion player in Asia.’

The brand uses only natural materials to create its products including Merino wool, FSC-certified Eucalyptus Tree fibre and SweetFoam as part of Allbird’s mission to ‘tread lighter on the planet’.
