Altermundi Opens First Address Outside Paris

Growing for several years, expanding its network of Parisian stores, Altermundi is taking a new step by setting up its first point of sale outside Ile-de-France.

The multi-brand brand of eco-responsible products (fashion, home, well-being, etc.) is beginning this conquest of the provinces by the city of Bordeaux. Altermundi has set its sights on a retail space located in the city centre, at 75 rue de la Porte Dijeaux, previously occupied by Desigual. A neighbour of André, Etam and Du similar to the Same, it is a 200sq m showcase, which is its largest store to date. The opening to the public is scheduled for 24 June.

Including this address in Bordeaux, Altermundi has a total of thirteen stores, including a flagship opened rue de Rennes in Paris at the end of 2021. The company claims an average annual growth of 35 per cent since 2017, which made it reach in 2021 a turnover of around seven million euros. For the current year, the cap of ten million euros in sales has been set.

Its diversified offer, combining clothing, cosmetics, home products, kitchen utensils and leisure items, brings together some 4,000 products from around a hundred suppliers, including Patagonia, Faguo, Ecoalf and Veja in the fashion department.
