The theme park’s outdoor attractions and self-catered accommodation will be able open to guests from April 12.
Alton Towers’ gardens will be opened even earlier and guests will be able to visit these every day from March 29 to April 11. From April 12, visitors will be able to enter the Theme Park and must adhere to a set of strict Covid measures in place, including pre-booked tickets, temperature checks upon entry, mandatory face masks for guests aged over 6 years old and appropriate social distancing. The park will also feature a number of additional hygiene and sanitiser stations.
Also on April 12, the theme park will reopen a selection of their self-catering accommodations. More details are expected to be revealed closer to the reopening date, along with information on festivities and live events expected to take place throughout the year.
The reopening of the park will finally see the launch of the park’s new Gangsta Granny ride which was originally supposed to open last spring.
