Amazon’s fresh grocery delivery service is now available for customers in Spain and Italy.
Amazon Fresh is already available in a number of cities in the UK, France and Germany. Now, the service will be available to customers in Madrid and the surrounding areas and Milan and its neighbouring municipalities for customers to order grocery items to be delivered straight to their door.
Camille Bur, Head of Amazon Fresh in Spain, France and Italy, commented: “We are very pleased to be able to expand our fast delivery service for food, beauty and personal care products and other categories with the launch of Amazon Fresh.”
This is the perfect time for Amazon to expand their Fresh concept given the rapid and consistent rise in online food sales as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak. By the end of the year, Amazon hopes that they will be serving customers all over Spain and will target a number of key Italian cities such as Rome.
