The two new centres will help offer a wider selection of items and enable faster deliveries for customers.
The implication of these fulfilment centres means that Amazon India now offers a storage capacity in excess of 4.5 million cubic feet spread across four fulfilment centres to its more than 23,000 sellers in Telangana. Amazon India has also expanded an existing sort centre to offer an overall sortation area of more than one lakh square feet.
