The online retail giant is partnering with Abu Dhabi Investment Office to establish the facility, which will be built in line with the company’s carbon reduction strategies, according to Reuters.
The upcoming centre will create thousands of local jobs and will also aid the UAE in its goal to reach net-zero emission by 2050. The facility will use machine learning and artificial intelligence technology to improve operational efficiency, the customer experience and speed of deliveries.
