The first indoor, real-snow ski and snowboard centre in North Americas reopened Tuesday September 1.
A number of precautionary measures have been implemented by American Dream to ensure that the entertainment attraction is safe for guests in a Covid-19 world. Team members at Big SNOW will now be required to undertake health screenings and regular temperature checks. Increased sanitisation will also be implemented throughout the attraction with counters and restrooms cleaned more regularly than normal.
Guests will be required to wear face coverings and gloves when entering the snow and face-to-face interactions with staff members and other guests will be limited.
Hugh Reynolds, Vice President of Marketing and Sales, SNOW Operating commented: “Skiing and snowboarding are great naturally socially distant recreation activities, and we are all very excited to be able to open Big SNOW for our guests again. Our team has been working very hard these past few months to reinvent what the Big SNOW experience will look like it today’s COVID world.”
