American Vintage is accelerating its international retail expansion with the first store in Mainland China, in the heart of Shanghai.
The 82sq m store showcases men’s, women’s and children’s products in a natural colour palette and features a denim bar and a white T-shirt bar with some of AMV’s pieces.
According to the business, the Mainland China move will kick off a commitment to the brand’s roll-out across the mainland, building on its commitment to Chinese consumers globally with strategically placed brick-and-mortar experiences.
Michaël Azoulay launched the American Vintage brand in Marseilles in 2005, drawing inspiration from the US. American Vintage has opened almost 213 stores worldwide, including affiliates, concessions and outlets. The brand is now present in Europe, the Middle East (Israel, UAE), North America (the US) and Asia (Hong Kong, China).
