Fashion brand American Vintage inaugurated its physical retail store in Mainland China, situated in the Reel shopping mall in Shanghai, replete with a denim bar and natural materials.
This expansion into Mainland China marks a pivotal moment for American Vintage in its quest to broaden its global presence. With a strategic focus on the Chinese consumer market, the brand aims to establish a strong foothold by strategically positioning brick-and-mortar experiences throughout the Mainland.
“I am personally very excited about our Mainland China expansion plans. We already have a wonderful Chinese consumer base in our stores in APAC and the rest of the world. So, opening in Shanghai is something we feel will bring us closer to our customers and bring them closer to our brand philosophy,” says Michaël Azoulay, Founder of American Vintage.
With nearly 213 stores worldwide, including affiliates, corners and outlets, American Vintage has gained a strong global presence. Its reach spans across Europe, the Middle East, North America and Asia, with locations in countries such as France, Belgium, the US, Hong Kong and now China.
