The Parisian fashion brand Ami, founded by Alexandre Mattiussi in 2011, has opened its debut store in Thailand’s capital.
Opened on 5 January, the store is located at M Floor in Bangkok’s Emporium mall. The opening is in collaboration with Thai brand distributor PP Group, whose brands include Longchamp, Maison Kitsuné and Café Kitsuné, Casetify and Tory Burch, among others.
Ami’s products range from apparel to accessories and draws inspiration from its roots, offering inclusive wardrobes for both men and women. The name “Ami,” derived from the French word for friend, also reflects the initials of its founder and creative director, Alexandre Mattiussi.
In 2022 Ami began making strides in Asia by establishing its first physical store in Seoul, South Korea. The flagship boutique was touted as the largest retail space in Ami’s global portfolio. Situated in Seoul’s Garosu-gil area, the store spans an expansive four-storey building, covering an impressive retail space of 300sq m and offers a curated selection of Ami’s esteemed menswear, womenswear and accessories collections.
